After spending countless hours perfecting your résumé and working on cover letters, you’ve landed a job interview. Don’t panic! Whether the prospect of going on a job interview intimidates you a great deal or excites you, since you are now one step closer to your chosen career, this workshop is not to be missed. Join Marie and Robert as they provide you with proven interviewing tools you can utilize and discuss the following:

• Why interview?
• The 4 Cs of interviewing
• What to do before, during and after an interview
• Interview styles and formats
• Potential questions you may be asked and ones you need to be asking
• Dos and Don’ts

 

RSVP is required.  Log onto my.dal.ca and access the myCareer system (located under the Services Tab).  Once in myCareer, access the Events Calendar under Management Career Services and register for this (or other) PPD sessions.  Advising appointments with Robert Wooden, who serves MLIS students, can also be made via myCareer under the Appointments tab.
